Biography
Thomas Leo Loehner is a sixth generation Osage Countian and is son of Edward and Mary Henke Loehner. Tom is the youngest out of a family
of three children with two older brothers; Mark and Jim. Tom attended grade school
and high school in Osage County R-III school district. Tom is married to the former Becky Scheulen of Loose Creek. They have five children;
four girls (Rachel, Robin,
Katie, and Sarah), one boy (John). Tom is engaged in fulltime farming with his family
where they raise sheep, cattle, and crops. Due to his stature and Agricultural background he has received a nickname
from his colleagues in the House and the Senate and has become known
as "Big Country".
