Biography
Thomas Leo Loehner is a sixth generation Osage Countian and is the son of Edward and Mary Henke Loehner. Tom attended grade
and high school in the Osage County R-3 school district. Tom is married to the former Becky Scheulen of Loose Creek. They have five children
four girls, and one boy. Tom is engaged in full-time farming with his brother Mark Loehner raising sheep, cattle, hogs, and crops. Tom has been 4H project leader
for 13 years. The Loehner family has participated in the Osage County fair since 1993. Due to his stature and Agricultural background he has received a nickname
from his colleagues in the House and the Senate and has become known
as "Big Country".
